About UsSaving Thyme owner, Gloria Stehley, went through a big career change about twelve years ago, and decided to open a shop in downtown Stoughton, Wisconsin, our very Norwegian community! Gloria is thrilled to spend each day surrounded by some of her favorite things...fabric and Scandinavian items!
We have been serving the sewing and quilting community since 2000, opening with a few gifts and Scandinavian Imports, lots of empty space and a few bolts of fabric on one level. Since then, we have expanded our inventory of sewing notions, quilting supplies and Scandinavian imports to fill our multilevel shop. We are passionate about what we do and thoroughly enjoy helping customers with their projects, offering fresh, new perspectives and time saving ideas. Each customer who walks through our doors receives individualized attention, with a friendly smile. Saving Thyme also offers wide variety of sewing and quilting classes that will appeal to sewists of all styles and skill levels. Each class, held in a fun, no-pressure atmosphere, is designed to inspire creativity, offer helpful tips and improve skills so that our customers have everything they need to be successful in their sewing and quilting endeavors.  |
